This is a short 14 minute edit, taken from the live performance at Wrap on the 18th of November 2016.
Audioglimt is a series of concerts produced by Wrap arts centre, where various pioneering bands / artists are invited to perform their own unique soundtracks to a film which they choose themselves.
As the last such concert of our autumn season 2016, Karen Skog Orkester chose to perform it's own soundtrack to Cave of Forgotten Dreams, a documentary by Werner Herzog about the Chauvet Cave in southern France, from 2010.
The Karen Skog Orchestra was founded in order to explore the qualities of instruments which Karen Skog designed and built / collected during her MA in Fine Art at Bergen National Academy of the Arts.
Cello - Sivert Nikolai Nesbø
Organ and sound effects - Erik Andreas Røkland
Violin, theremin and loop pedal - Karen Skog
Audioglimt is produced by Wrap arts centre in Bergen, Norway, with support from Arts Council Norway and Hordaland County Council.
