'Data Futures' is a live experiment - embedded in a larger talk at the Interaction17 conference - that explores some of the behavioral implications of increasing access to our personal data.
While the digital services we use in our everyday lives tend to hide their data processing mechanisms from us through multiple layers of abstraction, ’Data Futures’ lays open these mechanisms, makes them understandable and most of all, experiential.
The experiment showcases how our behaviors change once our personal data become openly accessible and, through this interactive experience, creates new discussions around the future use of our personal data.
