In the introductory session of our live debate in Brussels, we welcomed the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, László Andor, who engaged in a fruitful discussion with the representatives of the campus radios of the Euranet University Circle.
Connect.Euranet's first debate highlighted the tough market young jobseekers find themselves in today. The participating MEPs & students wanted more action on ending the exploitation of interns, making education more suited to the job market and simplifying the rules on working abroad.
The session lasted from 14h45-15h15. The moderator was Méabh Mc Mahon. The special guest was László Andor, Hungarian Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. The students at the table were from our following campus radios: Bonncampus, University of Bonn, Germany; Radio Universidad, University of Salamanca, Spain; Radio Kampus, Warsaw University, Poland; UBB Radio, Babes-Bolyai University Cluj, Romania; Trinity FM, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, Radio Campus, Örebro University, Sweden; UNED, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Spain.
