48 hours to write, cast, direct, shoot, edit, and deliver a short film – this is the challenge that approximately thirty teams accepted in June 2010. I was part of a team that was tasked with creating a suspense film involving a lamp. After a long day of shooting with the team, I was given the job of creating ending titles/credits for the piece. I quickly sketched out five scenes that would carry the text. Each scene corresponded to parts in the film and were toned to create a dark and suspenseful mood in keeping with the theme of the film. I had only eight hours to set up the scenes, shoot, animate, edit, and render the sequence.
