This is the video I shot last weekend at Coachella. Once again, The National provided the perfect song for it. I used "Terrible Love" because it just worked so perfectly for this. It was the last song they played that night (AGAIN: WITH JUSTIN VERNON ON STAGE WHAT), and was the song replaying in my head as I drove home. I also wanted something with a buildup, and this song has plenty of that.
The video was shot on my Canon Powershot SX230 HS, because pro cameras weren't allowed. It wasn't until day 2 that I got comfortable with the exposure settings on it (during Freelance Whales, which is why that's one of the best-looking clips). I think that little camera did a great job. I think it might even shoot better video than my 60D. But some of the low-light stuff is (as you can see) pretty bad. But, as always, I left it in if it was important to my memory of how things went.
Thanks for watching it, and I hope you like it. The three of you who are online today, at least.
