We enjoyed a beautiful spring evening to film some firedance footage (more than 3 hours of shooting). It was also the opportunity to test new elements of fire with sparkles, a new playground in our city and most importantly my new lenses for my Sony NEX-VG10. Namely, the Sony 50mm F1.8 (A-mount) and the Sony 16mm F2.8 (E-mount). Some sequences were also filmed with my new Kessler Crane Philip Bloom Signature Series Pocket Dolly. The lens 50mm 1.8 is awesome, just need +3dB of gain and I've got a beautiful light without noise. By cons I don't have set enough gain with the 16mm F2,8 and some scenes are a bit dark. By the way, this new lenses are my favorites and they are adopted ! One word about the Kessler Crane Pocket Dolly : Stunning ! I love these night shoots and now I am interested by a 35mm F1.4.
What a happiness to share my passion with my partner. Many thanks Franziska for your creativity, your beauty and your art ! You give me so much...New amazing projects will come ! 2011, what a year... and it's just the begining !
