After the earthquakes in 2015, thousands of poor families in Nepal lost their homes and fled to Kathmandu, to find work and build a new future. They send their children to local community schools hoping they also get food and even clothes there. In the little village of Thali more than fifty of those children are taken care of. Some with dramatic experiences from the earthquakes, because they lost one or both parents or brothers and sisters.
The parents work hard labor in factories or on the land nearby the capital. Himalayan Care Hands NGO and the Dutch Jeugdkring Chrisko NGO are supporting the community to rebuild the school and foster a better future for the children. In this video we follow 15 group members of the NGO on their last two days in Thali, for the second year that they already come in person to Nepal and assist in the construction works.
But moreover it shows their commitment and passion to support from heart and mind, assisted by the Himalayan Care Hands Nepal foundation. Witness the profound effect of their efforts and collaboration in this 12 min. HD video compilation.
