I think Alicia + Trent must be one of the most organized couples I have had. Back in August 2015, I first chatted with Alicia who was bright and bubbly, excited to marry her man Trent in a couple of years. It's always a great compliment from couples when they secure their videography in as one of the first suppliers for their big day. Where has the time gone since I first met up with them at their house in Doncaster - skipping ahead to 2017, where they finally tied the knot.
The morning kicked off with a casual brekkie on Clarendon Street, South Melbourne for the boys, before heading across the road to Edward Scissorhands for a tidy up and cut throat shave. Following onto the Hilton Hotel, Trent and the boys casually got dressed looking all schmick and sharp in their Roger David suits. Trent and Alicia exchanged letters in the morning which always provides some gold for narration to a film. It was quiet funny as Trent opened up the letter firstly seeing the word "vomit" and began to chuckle quietly to himself - clearly taken out of context of course.
Alicia + the ladies were being pampered in Albert Park by Lenda Makeup and Dye in Vain Hair. There were so many laughs and giggles throughout the preparations - always a great gem when these unguarded moments occur naturally. Alicia was positively glowing in her Fairytales Bridal dress.
As the ceremony kicked into gear at Showtime Receptions, Meriki Comito officiated a light hearted union which accumulated in Alicia + Trent exchanging their personalised vows - the humor that transpires sums them both up perfectly.
Family and friends enjoyed beverages alongside the wharf, whilst Alicia + Trent (and their bridal party) travelled into the city for some pics (shooting alongside Mark Dayman Photography is always a tremendous pleasure).
Thank you so much Alicia + Trent for a great day and I hope you both enjoy reliving your wedding day. You two are amazing people.
