A native of the Netherlands, Paul Kraaijvanger came to the United States in 1981 to pursue a passion that was in his blood: real estate.
Paul got his start in San Francisco in 2008, just as the United States was facing one of its most devastating economic recessions in modern history. However, he pressed on and founded Real Equity Group One LLC, which has primarily focused on the rehabilitation and repositioning of multi-unit properties and single-family homes.
To this day, Real Equity Group One LLC is actively pursuing its mission and looking ahead to a slew of new projects.
Paul Kraaijvanger holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University. Due to his passion for his field, he attended Thunderbird School of Global Management several years later, where he ultimately earned his Master’s in Business Administration.
Thanks to his educational and professional experiences, as well as the connections he has made along the way, Paul maintains a strong work ethic that is reflected in each of his projects.
With this in mind, each of Real Equity Group One’s projects are approached like a startup or mini-business, with great attention being paid to every detail.
Because of this, projects taken on by Paul Kraaijvanger and his company typically span two years, as they also encompass a wide set of challenges. From the acquisition of the project, drafting the plans, obtaining the necessary permits to securing the financing, and picking the finishes to finally exiting from the project with the right brokerage firm, each project runs a full business life cycle.
