In any case it’s important to point out that the working title of this film was Alien: Paradise Lost, it is undeniable the reference that Riddley makes to Paradise Lost by John Milton. Moreover, David’s God Complex (for me) is more evident when he plays the role of judge and executioner being a kind of a pretty fucked up holy trinity made by Dante, Virgil and Lucifer at the same time.
Finally, I have never determined paradigmatically this references are the only and true ones . Most of these are only known to Riddley and his team. These are my interpretations.
