Last year I had the goal of winning the GoPro Line Of The World Competition. I did end up achieving that goal through a lot of time and hard work . It wasn't quite as easy as going out and filming it once and calling it a day. I went out in different weather and lighting conditions throughout summer and fall to see what looked best.
Here's one of the runs that didn't make the cut. I loved the lighting and moodiness in this run but there was just way too much mud and water flicking up onto the lens. The dirt was also much slower which made for a less aggressive looking run than the one I ended up submitting. It's hard to tell on this but there were a couple moments where I thought I was going to crash hard. See if you can pick them out.
