An introduction to the Crash & Flow podcast for their Youtube channel. After listening to over 75 episodes, I was inspired to design and animate a logo intro for their videos. Due to the sleekness of their audio and the soft hip hop music ambience generated as the theme for the podcast, I aimed to visualize the feeling I got from listening to it for the first time. Hip hop is generally seen as a high-end output for dance, strobes and soundscapes. My vision of the logo intro was primarily influenced by the glitter and shine of city lights from a vast distance. The concept of 'Bokeh' photography was used heavily throughout the making of the project. The typography of the logo made the transparency of the letters clear and concise, representing the blurriness and hybrid nature of hip hop genres.
