Progressive Wet Drip Effect (quick example)

Progressive Wet Drip Effect (quick example)

john dalton

Someone asked about building a wet drip effect that could process a movie file and get progressively more severe over time.
It's easy to do using 2 keyframes for your AutoPaint action step that generates the wet drip. You setup your 2 keyframes at the start and end frames of your movie file, so the effect starts out doing nothing at frame 1 and then gets progressively more intense over time as the movie progresses.
In this particular example, i just keyframed the Max Count parameter in the Path Start control panel to go from 0 to 3000 over the course of the movie.
