In this Chicago space, bright colors and fast movement are permitted to bleed out across the 23-foot canvas, intermixing elements from clips of curated local footage. The familiar scenes reveal themselves through custom paint-simulation software in a poetic interpretation of human vision. The designers also integrated an informational set of transparent LCD displays in the elevator bay, which become invisible between modes.
