Expassionates front man and KCMETROPOLIS contributor Scott Easterday interviews Mark Southerland.

Mark is know not only for his great Saxophone tone in the Kansas City free jazz scene, working with The Mongol Beach Party, Malachy Papers, TJ Dovebelly, Snuff Jazz and his current project, Wee Snuff, he is also becoming known for his horn sculptures.

Combining the utilitarian instrument with the New-Deco artistry, Southerland's pieces are usable and, sometimes wearable art.
