We had a crazy idea in the pub in December 2015. It was to start a trouser brand in our town.
Hebden Bridge, used to be known as Trousertown, because it made over 20,000 pairs of trousers a week. That’s a million pairs a year!
I have been filming Brant and Ed since they started their trouser adventure, and I try to film them as much as I can.
HebTroCo was launched on Kickstarter, a crowd funding website, at the end of January 2016, with the aim to sell an initial batch of 176 pairs of trousers. They sold that batch in five hours.
So they quit their jobs, and committed to trousers full time. One year on and they have expanded their product range to make trousers, belts and boots. Everything they make is manufactured by factories and individual crafts people in the north of England.
They sell proper stuff, British made to last, with a lifetime guarantee.
