InterVis 2.0: The Screen
InterVis 2.0: The Screen is a live interactive performance which employs body movement, daily objects and video projection as a narrative to interact with the audio-visual tools and music. Projection carries inherent capacities for distortion and illusion (Kotz, 2004), the fusion of visual patterns and body movement brings The Screen to another realm of the aesthetic, our body becomes an object in the screen practice, exploring the possibilities of restructuring and interacting between audio, visual and embodiment. By interacting with both the projected visual patterns and the audio, body movement enriches the projection by distorting and transmuting the visual patterns into a new audio-visual live performance.
