A pantograph is a simple device for enlarging or reducing drawings. This project adapts a pantograph to trace the outlines of actual people and transform them into small drawings. It has been exhibited as an participatory gallery piece where people are invited to scan each other and pin the final drawing to the wall. A lot of people found the drawing process awkward and invasive, or uncomfortably intimate. I've also painstakingly made several flip books using this tool.
