We're a group of 12 Northeastern University students - all from different majors, years and backgrounds, who decided to put our differences behind us and bond in a different way: the New England Ragnar Relay. What is a Ragnar Relay, you ask? Well, it's a 200 mile relay race across New England, for 48 hours straight.
We're each running three legs, day and night, non-stop from New Haven, CT to Boston, MA.
We don't have much money in our pockets as all of us are still college students. We plan use 25% the money that you invest with us to the Japanese Red Cross Society. That means that you can help us run, and help us help them. The other portion of the money would help us pay for transportation, nutrition, entry fees, and other necessities.
We're not asking for much...
Any donation would be beyond amazing and helpful. A few dollars if you can spare or more if you'd like. If your company or organization helps us out, we will include it on our team t-shirts! We'd love to be sponsored by you. The website is safe and secure, so you don't have to worry about your money going somewhere else.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you don't have five dollars, five cents, or a penny, pass this on to someone who can help us. Word of mouth is just as important as any monetary help you can give. Again, we want to make our run mean something, so for every donation you make, 25% will go towards tsunami and earthquake relief in Japan. Please support our mission to run, have fun, and help our world out.
