SUPERNOVA Outdoor Digital Animation Festival makes a spectacular return for the second year to the DPAC and Denver Theatre District Saturday, September 23rd, providing an outdoor experience like no other. Seven hours of digital animation will be presented free to the public from 3pm - 10pm simultaneously on the 14th and Champa Streets LED screen and within the Denver Performing Arts Complex Galleria on a temporary LED screen, featuring seating, cash bar and a variety of diverse programs including the another new addition EXPERIMENTAL ART INTERLUDES, which features some of the most groundbreaking, experimental works in the festival. The program will commence at 7:00pm on the 14th and CHAMPA Screen.
SUPERNOVA provides an opportunity to dive deeply into the ever expanding field of computer driven creativity and boundless imagination. Emerging talents shine alongside world renowned artists. Local works are intermixed with those from a wide variety of countries including the UK, Canada, Australia, Russia, Iran, Italy, Korea, Germany, Switzerland, France, China, Denmark, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico, Bulgaria and Belarus.
