The short video "La Danse des ombres heureuses / Dance of the happy shades" has two parts: the first tells about paintings: how to paint light and sunshine, how to paint shadows. For a painter: there is no light, no shadow - there are only colours! The second part is about disabled persons and refers to a short story by Alice Munroe: "Dance of the happy shades". Munroe's short story mingles the person of an old piano teacher with the question how the society treats disabled persons. The video shows the paintings and photos with piano accompaniment. The story is told with subtitles in German and English.
