The Minnesota Twins have added the innovationof thermal heat lights in their sheltered concourse areas. This was completely fine with us - this game produced the first actual snow precipitation ever recorded for a Twins game at the new Target Field, opened on April 12, 2010. Note Christmas music played, guy in Santa outfit on TV monitor in this area.
We had the benefit of being outside in the elements to watch a contest without having to endure some of the harsher aspects of early spring weather, such as wind and dampness. Thus, it allowed us to enjoy the beautiful vistas of the city's skyline and the ballpark's architecture.
