Chaucer Barnes is the chief audience officer for Translation. He is the co-author of "The Contagion Cookbook" and has worked on digital strategy for brands like State Farm, Champs Sports, Google, NFL and Budweiser.
But he started his career as a musician and emcee.
"I was working at a law office and hating it," said Barnes who was moonlighting in a hip-hop group called Copacrescent. "Wound up I was lucky enough to spend some time with Dan Wieden and after about 90 minutes we decided we wanted to be in each other's orbit."
