Silence is the second song on my self-titled demo album released in May 2016. My
first ‘demo album’ was mostly recorded on an air mattress, with a 2009 gateway
laptop, and a guitar I bought at a guitar shop underneath Hotel Chelsea. Most of the
songs are derived from fear, one being about the Villisca Axe Murders, another about
serial killer Nannie Doss. ‘Silence’ itself came from the part of my subconscious that
tends to stream dark thoughts in the quiet. Fear is a gift; a challenge to be accepted.

Since my first experiments in film, I have based my pieces of art on surrealist poems
and my own neon poems about love and death. Analog sources such as VHS and super8, viscerally engaging phantasmal colours and vibrant
tones. My movies and music videos are always on the line of experimental and camp,
the erotic and the gothic. A female aesthetic with a strange subversive eye, fluidity,
and a deep research of the post-war avant garde and counter culture aesthetics. We
met with Courtney in park church cop (Greenpoint, New York) from that moment I felt
that I could make her nightmares and conversations where horror was our common
theme, a reality, a new reality.
