Tomorrow Today - A Whole-body Tragedy.
Coming Soon
Tomorrow Today is a voice. Muffled. Not his. Not hers. Not the baby’s. Not the future. Not the past. He knows it is more vital than all of these so he listens. It’s NOIZE. He tells them it’s NOIZE - not noise but NOIZE - like a punk band. He says that but then he cries because that’s so fucking limp, a fucking teddy bear, a fucking feather bed...a punk band? ...they’re children being cuddled and suckled. He’s been there and you’ve not. Bodies are meat. Heads, arms, torsos....choice cuts for the telly the rest for the sausages. His brain burns with NOIZE. Each in-breath the vile vapour of the gasses from the bloated strangers, each exaltation the bitter taste of the charred flesh. So he listens because the voice is only thing that might forgive him. One day it will be silenced and he will return. Tomorrow maybe.
