I finally got my camera back from repairs (took a little more than half a month!) and I apparently had a faulty circuit board and a small crack on my sensor. I'm surprised the stuff I captured before then even looked as good. But now that it's back, it looks twice or three times as good. Or maybe that's just my camera-withdrawal talking.
Attending my friend, Amanda's, birthday dinner gave me an opportunity to try out my repaired/replaced sensor.
The lighting in this restaurant was extremely dim. It doesn't really look as bright as in the video. That's just me cranking up the ISO to maximum, which in my case is 6400. There was so much noise in everything I shot it could've been deemed unusable. But thanks to the power of Magic Bullet Denoiser, I saved most of it. You can still see alot of artifacting though, but it's the best I can do.
