Meet Chef Scott Ryan- northeast regional winner of the 2017 Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award
Chef Scott Ryan, CEC, AAC, is the executive chef at The Country Club, in Cleveland, Ohio. Chef Ryan also serves as the chapter president of the Cleveland-area ACF, is a member of the Pittsburgh Chaine de Rotisseurs, and serves well as an advisory board member of the Cuyahoga County Community College culinary school, Pro Start, and Beachwood High School vocational school.
During his career, Chef Ryan has competed in, and won, several ACF and NICA sanctioned competitions, the pinnacle being his second place finish in the 2014 Global Chef’s Challenge world finals. He has also earned the distinction of being named 2012 Chef of the Year by the ACF, 2011 Chef of the Year by the ACF Cleveland chapter, and the 2006 Chef of the Year by the Michigan Chefs de Cuisine Association.
