This one hour program is the keynote address for the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Phi Mu's Annual Meeting held April 26, 2011.
Dr. Kate Marek, a Professor at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, Dominican University will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Marek teaches in the areas of technology and policy. She has worked in the library and information studies profession for over 25 years as a professional librarian, a teacher, a trainer, and a consultant.
In her presentation, Dr. Marek discussed some key contemporary issues in society as they affect the lives of 21st century professionals. A review of ideas from popular books and academic articles provided new food for thought about 21st century workers from the perspectives of both leadership and professional fulfillment.
