My Glidetrack Hybrid & Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens both arrived today so i got all excited and took them out for a spin. Was a bit disappointed that my old shitty Bilora tripod head had the wrong size screw thread to mount to the Glidetrack carriage so I borrowed an old Manfrotto tripod from Josh. We spent a couple hours playing around on his building site and although the weather was a bit dull, I still managed to get some semi-decent images shooting wide open. Forgive the shaky sliding as the tripod is crappy but I did manage to get used to it in the end to produce some smoother shots. The gear looks promising so should help me with a few upcoming jobs.
Lookout for Fluff's moonwalk premiere!
I've also just installed Magic Lantern onto the 550d so now i get the audio levels and zebras displayed which can be a help as well as a hinderance.
Grading done in Adobe Premiere & Magic Bullet looks with some 3-way colour correction.
