Well here we go a video of me flying the Venom P-51D Mustang brushless warbird. She does fly scale like to a real P-51 mustang and does have a great roll rate...
the scariest part is hand launching it, this is the hardest part due to right off the bat, it has a tendency to tip-stall and has no speed when thrown and the difficulty that comes from torque from the geared setup and brushless motor..
Please enjoy the video, made today the 24th of November, 2008, the weather was sunny and partly cloudy with a temperature of 40F an hour before dusk in Sequim, WA... My son Jonah who is 7, was filming so please bare with him.
The original Video clip was 21 minutes giving me a total of 20 minutes flight time using a 3-cell 2200MAh 15C Parkzone LIPO. still had 3.67V in each cell when brought home after the 20 minute flight. Used an E-Flite 10x7 Slo-Flyer prop which was so powerful casued the plane to fly unstable due to throttle usage even while trying to trim it. Still was a ball to fly! Trimmed video down with good parts recorded from my son!
Filmed with Aiptek A-HD+ on 1280x720P 60FPS mode using 6mbps data rat saved to quicktime .mov format.
re-copied file to .mp4 file format for edit using cyberlink powerdvd 7. output file from here was a 1280x720P 30FPS .wmv video file using 6mbps data rate...
