To celebrate the anniversary of the Festival of Britain, the Southbank Centre has curated a series of events, installations and new works. One of the key new installations is the temporary bandstand, sited outside Royal Festival Hall.
The bandstand was designed and built by Part I and Part II students, under the guidance of RIBA London. It will remain on site for five months and play host to bands and performers throughout the summer.
The music is "Pitter Patter goes my Heart" by Broken Social Scene, from the fantastic album "You Forgot it in People". Download it here... itunes.apple.com/us/album/you-forgot-it-in-people/id6925826
