"The less reactive you are, the more magnetic you become."
Internal reactivity included. Eye-rolling drains your magnetism, even if nobody sees it but you. Road rage of any kind - internally or externally expressed - same. Even when someone else is talking to you and you're already formulating a response, that's a reaction too. It means you're not listening, and it decreases your magnetism.
Feel the reactions coming. Watch them like a train passing through a field. When you can manage to press the pause button on even one of your reactions, you'll sense the magnetism as increased clarity and sweetness in your face (I promise) - as well as true compassion welling up inside you for the formerly reactive you who would've pounced. And compassion for the reactive folks close to you who can no longer shake your foundation.
Thanks to a full year of total immersion in the Handel Group methodology, ten full years prior to that with Hugo Cory in NYC, along with twelve years with John Friend and Douglas Brooks at the helm of my very precarious and reactive ship. I've never been more thankful for my teachers.
