Tucked in the mesas of the Little Colorado River Plateau is this 800 sq ft cabin with 500 sq ft on the main floor and 300 sq ft in the (unfinished) loft. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin sits on 40 acres of land and is only 12 minutes (8 miles) from the town of St. Johns, AZ. Access is from the county-maintained road CR6040. Power is connected to the cabin and a temporary septic system, installed in 1998, is still operational and was recently pumped out. Since the Apache County has no record of an installed septic system, this cabin is sold has having none. We haul water to our 55-gallon barrel, via a series 5-gallon pails. When five pails are empty, we fill them up at the city water source for 25 cents. The cabin water system is served by a pump and pressure tank.
