I recently started a series of reviews of HDslr "gear on a budget" to see just how functional and usable lower priced gear is vs the "Pro" level gear I'm used to using.
This is the first review on Jibs (or Camera Cranes) and features the indi system "indiGo Jib".
My initial testing was for bounce, sway and controllability with a macro lens (60mm/2.8 Nikon) and small moves (rises, pans, slides and a swoop). I was mainly trying to see how dialed in I could get her with just a few hours use...so far so good...

(and yes...that's the new Cinevate Atlas FLT in the background of the thumbnail and last part of the clip ...sweet looking eh? that review is here: rickasnoff.com/?p=1091 ;-)
