Lawrence Krauss debated William Lane Craig on the question "Is there evidence for god?" at NC State University, on March 30, 2011. Several members of the UNCG Atheists, Agnostics & Skeptics attended this event (thanks to the invitation from our friends at the NCSU Secular Student Alliance).
This clip is a selection from the Q&A portion of the debate, where Daniel Foster (a member of our group) highlights the absurdity of asserting the existence of a theistic god as the prime cause of space/time. Such a god hypothesis is simply not an explanation (it does not make predictions, cannot be falsified, etc.). Craig's argument for god arrogantly asserts certitude precisely where humankind is most ignorant. And that seems to be the function of faith: Pretending to have the answers.
