Mark 13 is considered by many scholars to be the most difficult passage in the gospels, if not in the entire New Testament. Although challenging, the main point is clear: Judgement is coming. This was true for the disciples' generation (vs. 30), as well as for us today (vv. 32-36). When judgment is imminent, one question must be addressed: "Are you ready?" As we move through Mark 13 today, ask yourself this: (1) Am I prepared for the coming judgment? and (2) Am I helping others to prepare? The only way to be prepared is to believe in the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life-Jesus Christ (John 14:6)! Furthermore, we help to prepare others by pointing them to this wonderful truth!
