Just when the first four days of Fashion Week had left one or more senses overwhelmed, along came Josh Goot to inject a much needed boost of vigour into the catwalk. Following a strong show by Dion Lee on the fourth day of RAFW, the afternoon instalment by Josh Goot magnificently wrapped up a day brimming with Australian fashion of the highest caliber.
Featuring an array Goot’s refined classic shapes splashed with hard edged prints, this season depicts Goot’s successful attempts at blending of ultra clean, modern and futuristic elements. A shout out to Oyster’s very own Shane Sakkeus and Stacia Hadiutomo, who were behind the stellar prints.
Amidst the post-show buzz, Oyster ducked backstage to chat to Mr Goot himself about the inevitable dramas of fashion, expanding the brand and the nature of the industry. As usual, with our cameras in tow we were able to capture some of the magic (spot the most stylish man in Sydney, Mark Vassallo!).
