nordica freeskiers - mare e monte - trip to siciliy PART 2

mare e monte (15th - 20th April)

on the 15th of april we went to sicily. Our idea was it, to make a multisport trip and to enjoy the sicilian spirit...
the first 2 days it was raining, so we had time to enjoy the epic italian, traditional sicilian food, and to make some sightseeing. But we were lucky, because the rain brought some new snow on top of the volcano "etna", which we wanted to reach and ski down the next days...
3rd day there, the weather became better and we decided to tighten a slackline between two islands, called "isole ciclopi" near the town of acitrezza...
4th day, finally skiing... we went to the cablecar, on south, and arrived at 2800m with the famous "unimog" trucks. after that we reached the top of the volcano (3200m) with new nordica skis (SIDECOUNTRY) and skins, and had an awesome run down the north side till 1800m.
