Where was the stage? It didn't matter. The curb would suffice. The always eager Raleigh First Friday crowd gathered outside The Raleigh Times to hear something some of them were familiar with and others - soon to follow. Tin Can Sailor played through their set. Listeners sat closer and closer, heads peeked over heads, passers-by couldn't help but stop in their steps. Everyone caught a glimpse. What most didn't know was that afterwards Tin Can Sailor would steal away from the crowd to across the street and underground in the Fish Market NCSU student gallery. They were unplugged, underground and in a matter of minutes, ready to play again for us. This time - different. The gallery was fitting, the sound reverberating and the ambiance, unmatched. The performance was intimate and we were a privileged audience. The set includes 'reform' and 'pack it up.' Find more happy times on their free debut EP at tincansailor.bandcamp.com
