Classroom in the Wild, Spring 2008
Produced, filmed and edited by Suzanne Taylor
The Cherokee and Creek Indian tribes both consider themselves Water People. This short documentary, filmed on the banks of the beautiful Wacissa River in Northern Florida, explores the value of water through the beliefs, traditions and personal reflections of two Native American Indians. Pat Mooney and Jerry Lang lead viewers down the banks of their memories and observations on this natural resource that commands such respect from the tribes they represent.
