Exploring Wang's chaotic four-scroll oscillator on an EAI TR-48 analog computer in fast rep-op mode. Parameter 'a' is appr. 3.5, and 'b' is being varied from 0.0 to appr. 0.8. The calculation is reset appr. twice a second and the trajectory is manually rotated around the X-axis from time to time, to get a sense of the 3d shape of the attractor.
The TR-48 is not really designed for these speeds, so the calculation and parameter values are less precise than usual, due to the difference in frequency response of the various modules. The clip ends with an amplifier overload for that reason.
