One in three women, and one in four men experience at least one form of domestic violence from an intimate partner during adulthood. Domestic violence is a pattern of controlling and abusive behavior – emotional, sexual, or physical. It is a pattern that can be prevented and it can be stopped. It is something that can happen to anyone.
Morongo Basin Unity Home was established in 1982, and is dedicated to education and prevention of domestic violence within the community. Since the organization’s inception, over 35,000 clients have utilized Morongo Basin Unity Home’s services.
