Experimental visual music clip based on photomontages by Jutta Hieret and music montage by Ute Reisner. Inspired by photomontages of Hanna Höch - Dada-artist reflecting german society of the roaring twenties, this music-photomotion evokes imageries of female gender representation in society, art and history.
Jutta Hieret looks for actual icons and visual sources in and myths and history of art. She researches for female stereotypes and finds new applications for collages and cut-outs, mixing centuries, different cultures and locations in her photomontages.
Ute Reisner created a soundtrack of remixed recordings of improvised music sessions with her musical partners Dragan Ahmedovic, b - Bernd Rastetter,dr - Harald Kille, guit, Rolf Schindler, dr and of spoken words and improvisation on kalimba by Ute Reisner.
Intermedial collaborative project by two members of German women artist association GEDOK in Karlsruhe, presented at exposition FRAUENzimmer in the GEDOK Gallery during 11th Women’s Perspectives 2011, conference reflecting 20 years of women’s cultural festival in Karlsruhe.
