The field of psychiatry is evolving, and the research community (including industry, academia, and government) must also evolve in order to be successful. It is imperative to consider how new advances or ideas can help when analyzing the brain. This session will consider the biomarkers and new technologies available and those that are being utilized in the field of psychiatry – including genomics and patient stratification – as well as potential approaches and challenges for implementing precision medicine approaches in this area of drug discovery and development.
