The Chilean band This Co. is back again with Inoculate, their third release that -as expected- comes loaded with that unique mix of obscure atmospheres and dance beats that has built their identity in the rock scene.
When compared to their previous albums (This Co. , More ), Inoculate presents a more subtle and intimate This Co., with less but more carefully crafted ingredients. Inoculate provides enough space for the different layers of instruments and vocals to float and sensually entangle in time. This is an album with a clear emphasis on the electronics, where the hand of a.k.a. Equipo can be read on the texture and deepness of drums and keyboards.
But don’t get confused, despite this clear shift to subtlety Inoculate doesn’t renounce neither to rock nor to dance. The corrosiveness of This Co’s guitars and the dancy cadence of its huge basslines are still there urging you to go once again to the darkest corner of the dance floor.
