"The Clockman" is a short documentary on Bill Williams of Colyton, New Zealand. His obsession with clocks is so great, he has beaten the Guiness Book of World Records for individual collections. As his collection approaches 3,000 clocks, Bill is rapidly running out of space in his museum; but he just can't seem to stop his hunt for the next timepiece. "The Clockman" is not only about one man's obsession, but the film also ponders the effect structured time has had in our high stress, contemporary lives. As Bill says "Perhaps it would be nice to go back to a time where time didn't matter as much."
