The NCGA Foundation’s Youth on Course program uses the game of golf to help youth in northern California develop life skills and values. Unlike other youth golf programs, Youth on Course focuses on an entire continuum of services that allows participants to play and participate affordably while building self-esteem and valuable life skills through clinics, course play, mentoring, internships and scholarships.
Participants can play golf for as little as $5 at over 115 participating facilities throughout northern California. In order to have access to the YOC participating courses at the YOC rate, participants must become life skills certified and obtain a Youth on Course card and can do so in the following ways:
1. By completing the Youth on Course online life skills curriculum through the NCGA Foundation website and paying the $12 annual membership fee.
2. By participating in a local certified program and paying the membership fee through that program.
Once this is complete, participants will have all of the benefits of an NCGA membership and will even be able to establish a handicap.
The NCGA Foundation is proud to offer Youth on Course to a new generation of northern California youth as it is a great way to develop life-long skills and values and have fun doing it too!
