The idea behind the Ariadne –Surgical Tissue Corrector© is that whole-scale, open surgical operations could be avoided at an early stage by correcting the damaged tissue with a tubular ‘patch’ of synthetic bioresorbable material that could replace the affected part and release medication gradually, as needed. We are basically referring to synthetic ‘tubular’ graft of biomaterial that will be created by extrusion in place and attached to healthy tissue with minimally invasive surgery.
This is an original idea that we have been working on with the aim of obtaining a patent towards facilitating its implementation.
