After searching for a long time, I found no history of this reel to reel analog recorder. I came across it in my basement about a year ago. My father, born 1965, told me of how he got it when he was 16 years old, either for free or a for small sum of $3.00. We went through the reels, and found these particular chord changes he had written and recorded just to remember.
The machine itself is beautiful. It has a worn out smell to it when it runs, you can feel the buttons clicking and moving gears, it weighs 50 pounds, and the tone it gives from the analog recording is warm and smooth.
