My dad, Milt Hughes, was smart, funny, kind, supportive, steady, and gentle. He liked gadgets and loved getting a new car. He was devoid of cynicism. He enjoyed reading and travel. He was a profoundly decent man.
He passed away peacefully at age 82 on May 19th, 2011, with my mom, Ellen, his wife of 56 years, at his side. His life was complete.
So many parts of myself that I am glad to possess, I found in him. We could not have had a better husband, dad, or grandfather, and we are grateful for his place in our lives.
